Tired of playing the game the way it was intended? Can't get enough of Rapelay? This is your lucky day. You can now make your own custom mods for Rapelay, including changing levels, creating new rooms, and adding graphics. There are two different ways you can approach this: make a fixed mod (one that does not change the original game experience), or create an interactive mod (one that does not alter what people will see when they play). If you're ready to take on this task with me, let's get started! Most of these mods were created with GMS2 in mind; however they can be used if you use RMXP or RMVXA. This is the standard way to make a mod for RMXP. After installing RMXP on your hard drive, you simply need to create a folder called "Mods" on your hard drive. Within that folder you can then place all of the levels, pathways, characters, rooms, and whatever else you want to include in your mod; it's really up to you. Then after that, all you need to do is load up RMXP and click "Create Mod". You can change the name of your mod by typing over the one that appears right beside the "Create Mod" button. Some things I recommend adding are: 1. Your mod's name 2. Whether or not this mod is fixed (doesn't alter the original game experience) or interactive (alters what people see when they play) 3. Any other information you'd like to add Your mod will most likely have a .zip extension, but this doesn't mean that you need to have WinRAR or anything like that in order for it to work properly. This way of creating mods is much more complicated than what I just covered, but it allows you to alter the very core of Rapelay's engine. To create a mod in this manner, you'll need a PC running the RMXP or RMVXA compiler, and a very powerful graphics card. The best parts about this is that you have full control over how the game looks, so feel free to add any graphical effects you'd like. In order for your mod to work properly, you'll need an additional folder called "Temp" located in the same folder where you placed all of your files. This is where your levels will be stored every time someone loads up your mod. This way whenever someone loads up your mod, it will load all the levels from the Temp folder instead of starting from scratch each time. After creating a . rmp file, you'll need to place it in your mods folder. To do so, simply double click on the .rmp file and hit run. This is probably the most complicated way to create a mod for RMXP or RMVXA, but it can be very rewarding. It involves starting from scratch, setting up the game yourself. The first thing you're going to want to do is open Rapelay's "Graphics Options" menu by clicking on the "Options" button at the bottom right of your screen. From there you'll need to click on "Set Graphics Settings". Here are the things that you'll need to change: 1. Change your graphic settings according to your computer's abilities. cfa1e77820
